Our Story

I have always viewed clothing and how people dress as an expression of themselves, just like art, which is why I do not see the distinction between fashion and art. A person is a canvas, and the clothing they wear is the art. I have always been drawn to creating my own artwork.
It has been my dream to bring this brand to life for over seven years, but like most people, I did not have the courage or determination to do so until now. Having been in university for two years now, if there is one thing I have learned, it is to do everything you want and need to do now because you might not be able to do it in the future, As for me, I will never regret not giving this a shot, and I hope this brand will serve as an inspiration to everyone afraid of doing something either because they are afraid or doubt themselves. I hope that this brand will serve as a medium to inspire you to believe in God and to never let doubts and fears hold you back.
Nigerian culture is at the core of this brand, and it is our goal to never leave it out, even if it is in the tiniest details, as the brand logo is derived from an ancient axe from Nigeria. My goal is to promote my culture as much as possible and this brand cannot exist without the inspiration of ancient Nigerian art, most especially Ife and NOK art.
The likes of Skepta, Nigo, Pharrell Williams, Ye, Vivienne Westwood, Slawn, Asap Rocky, and Tyler the Creator have always inspired me. Despite having different perspectives on art and fashion, each of them created pieces that are well-known around the world. I feel they are perfect examples of how you shouldn't let anything or anyone suppress your creativity. Their projects and various forms of clothing play a significant role in the creation of this brand because they inspire not just me, but the whole community to let their creativity run wild in any shape or form, and that is precisely what I wish to instill in others as well.
